Over the last few years, and increasingly so in recent months, many of my buddies have lamented over the fact that it was really difficult for them to find a place to swim, outside of office hours, at a location that was convenient and with proper coaches who could help them with their swimming technique and endurance. I have good news my friends.

I am pleased to announce that we will start our swimming program for all you adult swimmers who are looking to stay fit and healthy within a fun and social environment and to improve on your swimming techniques and timing with coaching by Singapore’s top swimmers-coaches.

Together with my long time swimming buddies from The Swim Lab team, David Lim, Gary Tan (both also fellow Olympians) plus Kenneth Cheok (another ex-national swimmer), we present our ‘Swim with SPORTinc’ Adult-Tri Swim Program which is a comprehensive, innovative and systematic program that caters specifically to adult professionals.

Drawing from competitive swimming and professional coaching methods and techniques (years of experiences), our team focuses on delivering the true meaning of “effortless swimming.” (p.s. effortless doesn’t mean no PAIN, but means greater efficiency!) Swimmers will go through a detailed training program that not only includes the normal pool based training (drills, kicking, pulling etc), but will also include swim-specific dry land workouts (Core-Abs / Stretch Cords, Squats etc) and flexibility training, a critical but often overlooked component to better technique and performance. We aim to make our swimmers more efficient and ‘streamlined’ in the water (and sea)! On demand, we will also take our more tri-focused swimmers on specially organized ocean swims.

Gerald and I will be training regularly with the group and will also facilitate the program and share personal swimming tips. We both enjoy triathlons and hope to help friends and fellow triathletes who find the swimming leg most challenging and perhaps the most difficult to improve on.
