(3) OPEN WATER SWIM CLINICS & TRAINING
We feel that many less accomplished swimmers and triathletes often do not get enough practice swimming in the open waters and many beginners tend to underestimate the increased difficulty of open water swimming. Training in a swimming pool alone is not enough to prepare you for an open water swim, there are many other factors to consider when swimming in an open water race i.e. swimming in a tight bunch (and getting elbowed/kneed by other swimmers), not being able to see underwater, no lane ropes to keep you in line, no wall/lane ropes to rest on while adjusting your goggles etc.
For seasoned and more competitive triathletes, we will lead swimming training sessions both in the pool and open water to help you improve on your swim legs of your races (whether it’s 1.5km, 1.8km or 3km)! Come join us.
We have two distinct programs for beginner triathletes and seasoned/more competitive triathletes:
- To equip beginner triathletes with proper skillsets for open water swimming and build open water confidence, all under proper supervision
- To provide seasoned/competitive triathletes more regular open water training sessions where they can swim together with some of Singapore’s best open water swimmers * We reserve the right to direct swimmers to the beginner program if we feel it is safer and better for the swimmer
Our Open Water Swim Clinics/Workouts are conducted every month. Click here for Oct / Nov 2009 schedule
SPACE IS LIMITED SO PLEASE REGISTER YOUR INTEREST HERE!

4) PLUS PRIVATE/CUSTOMIZED SESSIONS
-suitable for complete beginners who are learning to swim up to competitive triathletes! Please email us at swim@sportinc.net with your enquires.
